New Principal Bass Player

Delaware County Symphony is pleased to announce the principal bass position is now being filled by Alan Mason. Alan started playing the bass when in the 4th grade and went on to receive a double major in Music Education and Earth Sciences from The Ohio State University. He also earned a Ph.D. in Oceanography from the University of Delaware and is currently an Oceanographer. His current research project is studying ocean currents and the transport of material during hurricanes. As well as Delaware County Symphony, Alan also performs with the Valley Creek Church Praise Team. #dcsmusicians
