Our guest speaker will be Kile Smith, recently retired Curator of the Edwin A. Fleisher Collection of Orchestral Music. The Fleisher Collection is the world's largest lending library of orchestral performance material, with more than 21,000 titles available for lending around the world. Please join us in what promises to be a most stimulating and enlightening evening at the home of Barbara and Matthew Cohen, 2207 Windsor Circle, in Broomall, PA. The guest speaker for our second Musical Perspectives will be Michael Bolton, Director of Community Programs for the Opera Company of Philadelphia. Mr. Bolton's talk is called "Inside the Opera House." It is about the life of a singer and the process of planning an opera production. This is your chance to purchase hybrid day lilies and other stunning plants, as well as find recycled treasures donated by members and friends of the orchestra. The sale will be held at the home of Barbara and Arnold Ostroff, 401 Conard Drive in Springfield, PA 19064, just one half mile from the Blue Route (I-476) exit 5.
