Founded in 1991, the Arts Guild at Neumann University was established to extend and enhance

cultural activities at Neumann University for residents of the Delaware Valley. The Arts Guild presents quality cultural productions which serve the community as a whole and enhance the visibility and awareness of the arts on Neumann's campus. The nine member organizations of the Arts Guild present a wide range of instrumental, vocal, and dance performances; diverse children's and adult theatrical performances; and a variety of lectures, art exhibits, and seminars at the University and various regional locations.
As a charter member of the Arts Guild, the Delaware County Symphony has performed on numerous occasions, both on and off campus, in support of Arts Guild activities. These programs have included performances by the full orchestra, smaller musical ensembles, and soloists. This collaboration between the Delaware County Symphony and the Arts Guild at Neumann University has helped the Arts Guild create a broader cultural presence at the University, and has provided members of the DCS greater opportunities to perform for diverse audiences at different venues.
